The misuse of and addiction to opioids—including prescription pain relievers, heroin, and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl—is a serious national crisis that affects public health as well as social and economic welfare. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that the total “economic burden” of prescription opioid misuse alone in the United States is $78.5 billion a year, including the costs of healthcare, lost productivity, addiction treatment, and criminal justice involvement.

We knew someone had to get involved and help this widespread epidemic, so WE FOUNDED the OID COIN. 50% of our efforts go to our Founding partner SoberLifeUSA as well as the other recovery centers who have signed on to use our coin as payment since the conception of the coin. This coin will be used to treat patients and help build out needed infrastructure and support staff.

Introduction to OID

The OID Project is focused on empowering users with economic freedom through blockchain technology while supporting a cutting edge medical process to help those addicted to opiates become “SoberLifeUSA” and ultimately eliminate this great scourge of addiction!

The OID Project will release a PoW Scrypt Coin based on Litecoin technology.  The coin will be immediately mineable on OidPool.com along with other mining pools to follow soon.  The Oid Coin will have a 10% Founders Fee coming from the Mining Proceeds, 50% of our efforts go to our Founding partner SoberLifeUSA as well as the other recovery centers who have signed on to use our coin as payment since the conception of the coin.  The other 5% will be used to continue the development of the blockchain.  Our Roadmap shows the long-term future development of our blockchain.
