Acme Network

We describe a network and protocol facilitating secure commerce among manufacturers, designers, and customers via the Ethereum blockchain. Purchases and manufactures in the network are executed by a system of smart contracts utilizing ERC-20 tokens as currency. The decentralized nature of this system ensures proper allocation of royalties to the designers involved, as well as the security of intellectual property (IP). Manufacturers may combine IP to create one amalgamated product; upon manufacture, the relevant IP-owners are allocated full or fractional royalties in proportion to their contribution. The network and protocol serve as an unopinionated utility for secure commerce; updates are decided democratically and continuously allowing consistent uptime.
